The Earth is wrapped by shroud
Of the lead-gray clouds
The weak rays of light
Disperse the blind darkness
Our setting extinct sun
On the horizon
Is drowning in a sea
That's colored by blood
We reap what we sow
Just shadows of our former greatness
We are broken and fallen
No more strength to stand up from knees
Mother Earth is dead
And will never arise
In the name of progress
We paid the awful price
